Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine" is performing far better than Ram Charan's "Yevadu" at the US box office.The psychological thriller has reportedly  earned ₹8.6 crore in its first week at the US box office, whereas "Yevadu" has minted only ₹0.80 crore. Though the Ram Charan starrer has failed   in the US, it has failed to overtake "1 Nenokkadine".The Gossip from US Audience is that Ramcharan didn't improve his acting skills at all.He was just standing like wooden statue in the movie.

"1 Nenokkadine" is doing fantastic business in India and its collections are way ahead of "yevadu". However, the film's performance does not come close to "1 Nenokkadine" in the US. Mahesh Babu enjoys a huge fan following in the country and his films have done exceptionally well at the box office. His last release "Seethama Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" also did fantastic business in the US and crossed the $1 million mark in just three days of its release, including preview shows.

So far only six Telugu films - "Gabbar Singh", "Attarintiki Daredi", "Dookudu", "SVSC", "Eega" and "Baadshah" - have crossed the $1 million mark in the US. "1 Nenokkadine" becomes the seventh film to have surpassed that mark. Of all these films, "Dookudu", "SVSC" and "1 Nenokkadine" are Mahesh starrers.

Despite getting unfavourable reviews, "1 Nenokkadine" has managed to perform well in the US. However, the film has  to set the cash registers in India. Though the psychological thriller has not received a grand response from the audience in first Two days,From Third day Onwards its creating All time industry record.  Mahesh Babu seems to be very happy with the film.

The actor revealed that he is very proud to have done the film as it is not a regular commercial entertainer and is something which he has not done before. "1 will remain as 1 of the most memorable films I've ever done.Take a bow sukumar & the entire team of 1," Mahesh tweeted on his official Twitter handle. "For all those guys who have supported me on this 1 journey, love you forever. Proud," he said.

Story : Gautam (Mahesh Babu), a rock star. He rocks the audience with the musical world of his songs. He has some flash-back. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know the past. But haunted. He makes illusion that someone is going to kill him. In that aspect, he kills someone and surrenders himself. But the strange thing is that what he thinks he had killed someone is also an illusion.Doctors confirm that he has some mental illness. In this confusion, he leaves for Goa. There he comes across his illusioned chasing man(killidarj). Sameera (Kruti Sanan) who is a reporter follows Gautam. She tries to know about Gautam’s past. In Goa also, attacks take place on Gautam. There he understands, who are attacking him and why they are attacking him. Gautamki has a flash back. Someone killed her father. Now , they are trying to kill him. Gautam , now has two main issues. Who are his parents? Who killed them? How he came to know about these things? Who said about that? All these should be watched on the silver screen.

Performance: Mahesh babu action is Outstanding never seen in Tollywood.mahesh babu dominated his co-stars.Mahesh Babu has given one of his career best performances in this film. He is a wonderful actor and Sukumar tapped his acting abilities to the maximum in this movie. Mahesh Babu excels in emotional and entertaining scenes. Interval scene is an example for how good an actor he is. The intensity he brings in is amazing. He is definitely the high point of this film. He has done some dances that will please his fans. There is no six pack scene, but he did go shirtless and appeared with bare back in a shower scene.

Kriti Sanon is alright as an actress.she is very Romantic in Goa episode. Nasser is good and Kelli Dorjee is usual. Pradeep Rawat is standard and Posani Krishna Murali is alright. There is an item song on Sophie Chowdary and it is not up to the expectations. 

Technicalities: 1 is a technically well made film. It has superb cinematography and top notch visuals. We don't get to see these kind of visuals in Telugu films often. Devi Sri Prasad scored with the background score. His songs are just average. We expect more from the combination of DSP and Sukumar. Editing is superb about the basics. But the film lags on and on and drags for almost three hours. Wonder what the editor was doing? Production values are rich and it requires guts for any makers to spend so much money on a film that doesn't have any commercial elements. 
Sukumar is one director that makes movies with  box ideas and novel themes. He doesn't try to do regular mass masala movies and always comes up with something new. Even 1 Nenokkadine has a very unique plot,  he  execute it well. He  blend the action and the psychological angle of the hero in a proper way and the movie end up as a thrill to the audience. 
Screenplay is Extrodinary never seen.Climax how mahesh find his parents information is very very good thinking.
Career:

Even as "1 Nenokkadine" continues to be screened in theatres, Mahesh Babu has moved on to his next project. The actor will be seen in Srinu Vaitla's "Aagadu", which has Tamannaah in the female lead. The film's shoot started in Hyderabad's Sarathi studios on 18 January. It will be an out-and-out commercial entertainer in typical Srinu Vaitla style.
