Banner: Yellow Flowers
Producer: Ramesh Puppala
Director: Krishna Vamshi
Music: Sai Karthik
Casting: Nani, Catherine, Siddika Sharma, Bharath Reddy, Charan Raj, Raja Ravindra, Duvvasi Mohan and others
Rating: 2.70/5.0
Story
Prakash (Nani) who works as a model in a Shewrwani firm situated in Old City wants to become rich in very quick time. Prakash lands in trouble when the car he was driving was found with Rs 50crs,even as muslim girl Noor (Catherine) starts loving him at the first instance.
What is the secret behind the unaccounted 50crs in his car and what Prakash does with it and how Prakash comes out of the trouble forms the crux of Paisa. To know the connection between Hawala transactions and rich and hot girl Sweety (Siddika Sharma) and will Prakash reciprocate Noor's love, one should watch Paisa on big screen.
Performance
Nani came with good performance. He expressed himself well and it is a poetic justice that Nani's long wait is met with success. He excelled in stunts and emotional scenes. Catherina Tresa got limited scope for performance but she looked beautiful in scenes. Siddhika Sharma, the other heroine provided ample and generous glamour treat through out the film.
Others like Charanraj, Raja Ravindra, Duvvasi Mohan, RK, Bharath Reddy performed according to the script.
Technical
Thyagaraj's editing is good but cinematography of Santosh Raj did not elevate the scenes. His use of irregular tints didnot have the desired effect. Sai Kartik's muisc and background score is good. Production values of Yellow Flowers Banner are good.
Plus Points
Nani
Glamour of Catherine, Siddhika
Climax
Minus Points
Routine story
First half
Cinematography
Slow pace
Analysis
Krishna Vamsi selected realistic plot to portray the harms involved in making easy money. He tried to show the negative side of politics, glamour, action and also the affects of love involved in it.
However the first half turned out to be too slow compared to the second half.
But the plot of the film was routine and resembled earlier films like Money, Anaganagaa Oka Roju of Ram Gopal Varma. Even Krishna Vamsi's dialogues failed to make any impact. But the last half an hour made up for the lapses.
Final Talk
Paisa shows its power for some time.
