న్యూఢిల్లీ: వివిధ రంగాలలో విశిష్ట సేవలకు గుర్తుగా భారత ప్రభుత్వం ఇచ్చే పద్మ అవార్డుల ప్రకటనకు రంగం సిద్ధమైంది. దేశంలో ద్వితీయ అత్యున్నత పౌరపురస్కారం పద్మ అవార్డులకు ప్రభుత్వం127 మందిని ఎంపిక చేసింది. ఇద్దరికి పద్మవిభూషణ్, 24 మందికి పద్మభూషణ్, 101 మందికి పద్మశ్రీ అవార్డులు ఇవ్వనున్నారు. వారిలో 27 మంది మహిళలు, ఏడుగురు ప్రవాస భారతీయులు, విదేశస్తులు ఉన్నారు. ఈ ఏడాది పద్మవిభూషణ్, పద్మభూషణ్, పద్మశ్రీ అవార్డులకు ఎంపికైన కొందరు ప్రముఖల పేర్లు ఈ దిగువ ఇస్తున్నాం.

ముంబై : ఆమ్ ఆద్మీ పార్టీ సమన్వయకర్త అరవింద్ కేజ్రీవాల్ కంటే, బాలీవుడ్ ఐటెం బాంబ్ రాఖీ సావంత్ చాలా నయమని శివసేన అధ్యక్షుడు ఉద్ధవ్ ఠాక్రే మండిపడ్డారు. పార్టీ పత్రిక సామ్నాలో బాల ఠాక్రేలాగే ఘాటుగా సంపాదకీయాలు రాస్తున్న ఉద్ధవ్ ఠాక్రే.. ఈసారి నేరుగా కేజ్రీవాల్ పై తన విమర్శలు ఎక్కుపెట్టారు. కేజ్రీవాల్ కంటే రాఖీ సావంత్ ను ఆ కుర్చీలో కూర్చోబెడితే బాగా చేసేదని ఆయన వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. గతంలో రాఖీని ఐటెం గర్ల్ అంటూ విమర్శించినవాళ్లు ఇప్పుడామెను సన్మానించాలని తెలిపారు. ఇటీవల ఆయన ఉద్యమం చేయడాన్ని, కేంద్ర హోం మంత్రి సుశీల్ కుమార్ షిండేను ఏకవచనంలో సంబోధిస్తూ తిట్టడాన్ని ఆయన విమర్శించారు. కేజ్రీవాల్ ను మరాఠీ యాసలో.. పిచ్చోడు అని అభివర్ణించారు. కేజ్రీవాల్ చేసిన తమాషా చూసి పార్టీలన్నీ సిగ్గుతో తలదించుకోవాల్సి వచ్చిందని, ఆప్ సంస్కృతి ఇలాగే ఉంటుందని అన్నారు. ఆయన చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలు కొన్ని ఇలా ఉన్నాయి..

Sheryl Crow’s oncologist told her: women should not drink bottled
water that has been left in a car. The heat reacts with the chemicals in the plastic of the bottle which releases dioxin into the water.
Dioxin is a toxin increasingly found in breast cancer tissue. So please be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car.

Pass this on to all the women in your life. This information is the kind we need to know that just might save us! Use a stainless steel canteen or a glass bottle instead of plastic!

bottles in freezers. No plastic wrap in microwaves.

Dioxin chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to cells in our bodies. Don’t freeze plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently the Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.

He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating food in the microwave using plastic containers…

This especially applies to foods that contains fat.

He said that the combination of fat, high heat and plastic releases dioxin into the food.

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food… You get the same result, but without the dioxin.. So, such things as TV dinners, instant soups, etc., should be removed from their containers and heated in something else.

Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s safer to use tempered glass, such as Pyrex, etc.

He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants
moved away from the styrene foam containers to paper. The dioxin
problem is one of the reasons….

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Cling film, is just as
dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave.
As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

బాలీవుడ్‌లో ఘన విజయాలతో దూసుకుపోతున్న కండలవీరుడు సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ తన ఇమేజ్‌కు భిన్నంగా సామాజిక అంశాన్ని నేపథ్యంగా ఎంచుకున్నారు. తెలుగులో ఓ మోస్తారుగా విజయం సాధించిన ‘స్టాలిన్’ చిత్రం ఆధారంగా సోహైల్ ఖాన్ దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందించిన ఈ చిత్రం ప్రేక్షకుల్లో భారీ అంచనాలను పెంచింది. భారీ అంచనాలతో జనవరి 24 తేదిన ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చిన ‘జై హో’ చిత్రం కథేంటో ఓసారి పరిశీలిద్దాం.

జై(సల్మాన్ ఖాన్) ఓ మాజీ మిలటరీ ఆఫీసర్. ఓ కారణంగా మిలిటరీ నుంచి సస్పెండైన జై సమాజంలోని చెడును ఎదిరిస్తూ.. సాధారణ జీవితం గడుపుతుంటాడు. అపదలో ఉన్నవారిని ఆదుకుంటూ.. అన్యాయాల్ని ఎదురించే క్రమంలో హోం మంత్రి(డానీ)తో గొడవ మొదలవుతుంది. హోం మంత్రి అక్రమాలను ఎదుర్కోనే నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి పై హత్యాయత్నం జరుగుతుంది. ముఖ్యమంత్రిని హత్య చేసేందుకు ప్రయత్నించారనే అపవాదు జై పై పడుతుంది. అయితే హోం మంత్రి ఆగడాలకు ఎలా అంతం పలికాడు? ముఖ్యమంత్రిని ఎలా రక్షించుకున్నాడు? తాను అనుకున్న లక్ష్యాన్ని చేరుకున్నాడా? అనే ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానమే ‘జై హో’ చిత్ర కథ.

జై పాత్రలో సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ గత చిత్రాలకు భిన్నంగా కనిపిస్తాడు. మూస పాత్రలకు పరిమితం కాకుండా సామాజిక అంశాన్ని నేపథ్యంగా ఎంచుకుని.. కొత్త మార్గాన్ని ఎంచుకున్నాడు. జై పాత్రలో సల్మాన్ ఖాన్‌ను అభిమానులను ఊపించుకోవడం కొంత కష్టమైనా.. పాత్ర పరిధి మేరకు సల్లూభాయ్ పరిణతిని ప్రదర్శించాడు.

సల్మాన్ సరసన నటించే అవకాశం చేజిక్కించుకుని.. తొలిసారి బాలీవుడ్ తెరపై కనిపించిన డైసీ షా అంతగా ఆకట్టుకోలేకపోయింది. ఈ చిత్రంలో సల్మాన్‌కు సరియైన జోడి అని ఒక్క సన్నివేశంలో కూడా ప్రూవ్ చేసుకోలేకపోయింది డైసీ. ముఖ్యంగా హీరోయిన్ పాత్రకు పెద్దగా ప్రాధాన్యత లేకపోవడంతో పాటలకే పరిమితమైంది.

చాలాకాలం తర్వాత టబు మళ్లీ బాలీవుడ్ తెరపై దర్శనమిచ్చింది. సల్మాన్ సోదరి పాత్రలో పాత్ర పరిధి మేరకు పర్వాలేదనిపించింది.అంగవైకల్యంతో బాధపడే అమ్మాయిగా గెస్ట్ పాత్రలో కనిపించిన జెనిలీయా దేశ్‌ముఖ్‌ మంచి మార్కులే సంపాదించుకుంది.

డానీ విలనిజం ఓకే. సునీల్ శెట్టి, మెహనీష్ బెహల్, మేహ శ్ మంజ్రేకర్, సనా ఖాన్ తదితర పాత్రలు సినిమాకు అదనపు ఆకర్షణ.

విశ్లేషణ:

వాంటెడ్, దబాంగ్, రెడీ, బాడీగార్డ్, ఏక్తా టైగర్, దబాంగ్-2 లాంటి బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ చిత్రాలతో బాలీవుడ్ బాక్సాఫీస్‌కు కేరాఫ్ అడ్రస్‌గా సల్మాన్ నిలిచాడు. అయితే తన రూట్ మార్చుకుని.. సామాజిక నేపథ్యమున్న 'జై హో’ చిత్రంతో ప్రేక్షకులకు సరికొత్త సల్మాన్‌ను చూపించాడు. డిఫరెంట్ బాడీ లాంగ్వేజ్‌తో కొత్త తరహా లుక్ తో సల్మాన్ ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. సల్మాన్‌లో మాస్ ఎలిమెంట్స్‌ను ఎక్కువగా ఆశించే అభిమానులకు ఈ చిత్రంలో అలాంటి మార్కు ఎక్కడ కనిపించకపోవడం నిరాశ కలిగించే అంశం. గత చిత్రాల్లో కత్రినా, సోనాక్షి, కరీనాలతో జత కట్టిన సల్మాన్.. ఈ చిత్రంలో డైసీ షాను హీరోయిన్ గా ఎంచుకున్నాడు. అయితే గతంలో సల్మాన్ సరసన నటించిన హీరోయిన్లకు ధీటుగా డైసీ గ్లామర్ పరంగా, అభినయంలోనూ మెప్పించలేకపోయింది. ఇక సల్మాన్ దీటుగా విలనిజం ఎలివేట్ కాకపోవడం ఈ చిత్రంలో ఓ మైనస్ పాయింట్ గా చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. సల్మాన్ అభిమానులను మెప్పించేందుకు దర్శకుడు సోహైల్ ఖాన్ తన శక్తిమేరకు ప్రయత్నించాడు. సాజిద్-వాజిద్, దేవి శ్రీప్రసాద్, అమల్ మాలిక్‌లు పాటలకు సంగీతాన్ని అందించారు. అయితే ‘బాకీ సబ్ ఫస్ట్ క్లాస్’, ‘తేరే నైనా’, ‘ఫోటో కాపీ’ పాటలు మాత్రమే ఆకట్టుకునేలా ఉన్నాయి. సందీప్ శిరోద్కర్ బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ మ్యూజిక్ పర్వాలేదనిపించింది. ఎవరైనా ఏదైనా సహాయం చేస్తే థ్యాంక్యూ చెప్పకుండా.. మరో ముగ్గురికి సహాయం చేయమని చెప్పే థీమ్ కు కథలో బలమైన పాయింట్. అయితే అంతగా తీవ్రత లేని పాయింట్ ఉత్తరాది ప్రేక్షకులను మెప్పించడం కష్టమే. సెకండాఫ్‌ స్లోగా ఉండటం, ఉపన్యాసాలు ఎక్కువ కావడం ప్రేక్షకుడ్ని విసిగించేలా ఉంటాయి. కొన్ని ఎపిసోడ్స్ సినిమాకు తక్కువ టెలివిజన్ సీరియల్స్ ఎక్కువలా అనిపిస్తాయి. కమర్షియల్ హంగులకు దూరంగా ఉన్న ఈ చిత్ర విజయం పూర్తిగా సల్లూభాయ్‌పైనే ఆధారపడి ఉంది. బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఈ చిత్రాన్ని ప్రేక్షకులు ఎలా రిసీవ్ చేసుకున్నారనే విషయాన్ని తెలుసుకోవాలంటే కొద్దిరోజులాగాల్సిందే.

Uday kiran commits suicide

Uday Kiran who shot to fame with youthful entertainers like ‘Nuvvu Nenu’, 'Manasanta Nuvve', becoming a lover boy after his debut in Chitram in 2000 is no more. In a shocker to all his fans and Tollywood industry, he ended his life at 12.15 AM yesterday at his flat in Srinagar Colony.

Uday Kiran was rushed to Apollo Hospital, Film Nagar by neighbours but doctors pronounced him dead. Sources say Uday made some calls to his friends before taking this shocking decision. He last spoke to his friend Bhupal. His last SMS went to his wife Vishita reading "I LOVE YOU" who was in a birthday party.

When his friends found that his cellphone was switched off, they quickly alerted neighbours but by that time it was too late to save him.
Uday Kiran was born on 26,June,1980 and went on to star in 21 films. He won Filmfare award for his performance in Nuvvu Nenu. Uday Kiran married his girlfriend Vishita in 2012. His career was on downslide with six big flops in recent years. He has lost many opportunities after his row with the Mega family and was struggling to come back and reclaim his status in the Telugu cinema.

Tollywood celebrities like Srikanth, Aryan Rajesh and Tarun reached hospital on hearing the news. His last film, Jai Sriram, had released in April last year.

Reasons for the suicide are yet to be ascertained,we the team from AHL wishes that his soul will rest in eternal peace!
